Hey! I’m Sam (Samantha Murphy), a 21 year old girl as of right now (I was born on September 11, 1998, so do the math). I have Asperger’s/high-functioning autism. This blog is about my daily life. Please read it. Also, I have two other blogs, but I’m not really active on either of them anymore, so… yeah. Anyway, read my blog or don’t. Your choice. I think my life and my thoughts are pretty interesting, though.

Alright, some more about me. First, my looks. I have dark brown hair, and brown eyes that look exactly like my siblings’ and all my cousins’ on my dad’s side. It’s just genetic, I guess. I’m between 5’4″ and 5’5″, depending on the day, so I’m kinda short, I guess. I wear glasses most of the time, except for the occasional day when I put my contacts in, which really doesn’t happen anymore (the last time was at least three years ago, probably more). And I think that’s it for my appearance.

Second, my family life. I’m the oldest of four kids. My oldest brother is two years and three days younger than me. My little sister is seven and a half years younger than me. My youngest brother is nine and three fourths years younger than me. I mostly hate being the oldest. Sure, there might be the occasional day that I enjoy it, but most of the time it’s wicked annoying, especially since I get blamed for literally everything (and yes, I am from New England, so I say “wicked” a lot, too).

Now, on to my interests. I absolutely love to write. I actually want to be an author for a living. I have a 2 1/2″ story binder that’s really hard to close because it’s so full of my ideas and my stories that I’m writing. I’m on pretty much all social media, though I don’t always use them. My username for almost everything is zizzlekwum. It may not be professional, but it is unique, and that’s what I like.

I also love to read. I don’t have a favorite author, I’ve recently realized, because I just read what I like. My absolute favorite genre is science fiction. I love sci-fi. It’s amazing. Almost all of the books that I’m writing are sci-fi. There are two exceptions, though. One, the ones that I purposely made not sci-fi to try and challenge myself. Two, the rare ones that I get an idea for that aren’t sci-fi. I think there’s only one of those at the moment (January 10, 2014). Anyways, my favorite books (right this second) are the books in The Origin Mystery trilogy, The Atlantis Gene, The Atlantis Plague, and The Atlantis World. That series is amazing.

I also like video games. I love Pokemon (and don’t you tease me for it or else you’ll regret it!). It’s amazing! I can’t even begin to describe how excited I was when the first Pokemon game for the 3DS came out! I’m amazing at Halo. Just ask my oldest brother. He’ll groan at being humiliated because he gets beat by a girl (his older sister, mind you), but he’ll admit that I’m awesome at it. I don’t play Call Of Duty a lot, since for the longest time my two little brothers hogged the PS3, but now that we also have a PS4, I get to play more often. I really like playing Exo Zombies on Advanced Warfare.

One last thing: I am OBSESSED with multiple TV shows, including The Blacklist, Law & Order: SVU, and the One Chicago series (Chicago FireChicago PD, and Chicago Med). You know, the best shows ever? 🙂 It’s literally a huge part of my life. You’ll find that many of my posts will include something SVU or One Chicago related in them. Oh, and also:

Okay, I think that’s a fairly thorough “About” section. Don’t you? Now, go read my blog, please! Or don’t. It’s up to you.

Oh, and before I go, this needs to be said: this blog is about my personal views, opinions, feelings, etc…. They may not always be what you consider “right” or “justified”, but they are mine all the same. I know that sometimes I will react to things that shouldn’t cause any disturbance, but that happens to all human beings. I’m not saying that I’m always in the right, nor that I’m never in the right. I am justified in all of my feelings because, whether they make sense or not, I am feeling these things. Oh, and over the years, my views, opinions, and feelings will probably evolve and change as I gain more experience and information on a subject, and my posts will reflect that accordingly. This does not make me a hypocrite, it makes me a learning, growing human being who understands that there is always more to be learned. Thank you.

    • Thanks! Sorry it took so long to reply, I just got back from camping on Saturday. And apparently, my scheduled blog chain post just decided to delete itself, so I need to re-write that, too 😦 I’ll do the post, soon, I just need a little time. Thanks again! 😀
