Camp NaNoWriMo Starts Today

Hey. The wait is over. Camp NaNoWriMo officially started eleven hours and forty two minutes ago as of now, and I’ve barely started my outline. I guess I’m going to have to work on it a lot once I finish the daily word count. This sucks.

I’m so bad at not procrastinating. My room is supposed to be clean by Thursday, and while I was given wrong information about that at first (when asked, my mom said it doesn’t have to be fully clean, just big progress, but now she went back on that ), I still haven’t worked on it as much as I should have.

In other news, it’s exactly an hour after I started this post. I just went to look for Burban and I can’t find her anywhere. I can’t even hear her meow. It’s kinda worrying me, so I’m going to go try and find her. Bye!

Some People….

Hey. So, it finally happened. The moment I’ve been dreading. My classmates have discovered my blog. Not that I wasn’t expecting it. I just don’t know how the hell G1 did it (no, I’m still not using names- I don’t care if my classmates can read this, it’s still on the internet for everyone to see, and it’s not for me to disclose their names). Z said G1 was hanging with a small group of kids before school, looking up all of his friends for fun, and he ended up Google-ing “Samantha Murphy.” Which, by the way, is the name of some singer, and I also think I’ve typed my name all of 3 times on this blog. So I have no freaking clue how he found my blog from those search terms.

But, the thing is, when they found this, they didn’t just go, “Cool, Sam has a blog.” No, they had to tell everyone. And let me tell you, when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I was alerted to this second period by Z, who was like, “So, been on Sammi Talk lately?” Also, I was walking into Chem and I heard G2 saying to my friend M, “…Sam’s failing history….” Which reminds me….

Hey, newsflash for you: that post was written on March 15, 2014. The beginning of 3rd quarter. A lot has changed since then. And I mean a lot. And by the way, just because I was failing history doesn’t mean I’m stupid. I have a genius IQ, in case you skipped that part. I got a higher score than you on the placement exam, and I know that because I got the highest score. Not only that, but my score was the top 1% in the country. So shut up. You know nothing about me (You think I put my life on this blog? Ha! As if!).

Anyways, I don’t really care what everyone thinks. I made this blog knowing some people I know would find it. I just didn’t expect it to be freaking everyone. But, it doesn’t matter. I’m just going to continue on normally. So, the post I probably would’ve written today is below.

I got braces yesterday. They hurt like hell, but no where near as much as last time (yes, I had braces before but didn’t wear my retainer because my orthodontist didn’t tell me anything, including that my teeth would revert back to the way they were if I didn’t wear it). I got navy blue and orange for the colors, for the Detroit Tigers. No, I’m not a fan of the Tigers (Red Sox all the way!), but I was on the Tigers when I played minor league for five years, and this year I’m officially helping coach the team, so I decided to get Tigers colors.

In other news, Burban’s not dead! I know, I know, this required a little back story. Okay, so last night she ate an azalea, which are apparently “moderately toxic” to cats. Needless to say, I was freaking out. I was like “Oh my God what do we do?!” And it turns out, she’s fine. So, that’s good. On a side note, though, she’s getting sooo big. Definitely not the tiny 10-week-old we got in October, although she’s still a kitten.

Alright, that’s it for now. I need to go work on some more of my history fourth quarter project. Bye!

P.S. I just want to make it clear that I don’t blame G1 for any of this. He’s a really nice guy, and I know he didn’t mean for it to escalate the way it did. It’s not his fault in any way. Also, Z has no fault in this, either. He was just the messenger. And as Dos would say, don’t shoot the messenger.

I Feel Like A Stalker…

Hey. So, do you have an Instagram? Well, if you don’t, then let me tell you, it makes you feel like a stalker. For real. Like, seriously. On the bright side, though, Burban is sitting on my lap as I type this 😀 Alright, sorry for the short post, but I’m going to go try to type more of Running, and I just wanted to keep my posting streak. Bye!

Successful Shopping Trip!

Hey! Today, me and my mom went shopping! I got a crap-load of clothes! First, we went to American Eagle, where I got three pairs of jeans, a sweater, and a nice top. Then, we went into JC Penny, where I found a nice jacket, marked down $55, from $85 to $35, plus another shirt. After that, when we went into Aeropostale, I got boots, and a few nice shirts. Last, we went to Hollister. I got a pair of jeans, plus a few shirts. Normally, we don’t shop in those stores (except JC Penny) because they’re all wayyyy too expensive, but they were all having massive sales, like 70% off sales, so we took advantage of those amazing opportunities and shopped our butts off. Now, I’m sitting here on my bed, with my laptop on my lap, trying to type with my kitten Burban sitting on my chest. It’s hard, and I’m getting frustrated with all the typos I’m making, so I’m going to end the post now. Bye!

P.S. Breaking news! I’m going to see Saving Mr. Banks with Gabby tonight!

Where Are You Burban?!

Hey. Burban is missing. We can’t find her anywhere. She’s been AWOL since around 3 in the afternoon (I think that’s when I saw her last). It was around when Gabby left. Which scares me, cuz it makes me wonder if she somehow got past me and out the door, even though I was watching for her. I’m crying. I’m so scared. What if she’s hurt? What if she’s dead?

Hey again! The reason I say that is because that first part was written about a half hour ago. I stopped the post and went to find Burban. Following advice from my Uncle’s mom (not my grandma, since he’s not my blood uncle, but he’s my uncle in all the other ways), I looked in Amanda and AJ’s closet (they share a room), and after pushing aside all of the crap that was in a huge pile on the closet floor, found Burban! I was so relieved! I pulled her out and into my arms for a ginormous bear hug, which, surprisingly, she stayed calm and still for (she normally stays still for hugs from me and my mom, no one else, but I hugged her very, very tightly). I am so happy right now, you don’t even know. Phew. My mind was going to dark places, like thinking she wasn’t going to be here for Christmas and stuff like that. But it’s all better now. Thank you, God! Alright, I guess that’s it. Oh, wait. I kept my posting streak. Again! This is the seventh day, I believe. Okay, that’s really it. Bye!

Introducing….

Hey. OUR NEW KITTEN!!!!! ❤ Burban is named after the color (which I don’t think I spelled right, but I like that spelling), and is 8 to 10 weeks old. She was taken from the wild by my mom’s friend because the friend didn’t want a thousand kittens to be born when Burban grew up, since Burban was living right near the friend’s house. The friend brought Burban to work yesterday and gave her to my mom, who brought her home. My dad suggested the name Burban, and it stuck! HERE SHE IS:

This next one has flash, unlike the last one, so her eyes are squinted, and look weird (plus she’s yawning), but you get a better look at the rest of her:

ISN’T SHE JUST THE CUTEST THING?! I love her so much! I held her for like literally five hours straight last night, and we bonded a lot! Okay, I’m going to go hold her again. More later! Bye!
