Hey. So, I have strep throat. And I’m also not going to school tomorrow, which means I’m missing my art field trip. It’s kinda funny, because I’ve never made a single art field trip in my life, out of the two or three that I’ve had. That sucks, too, though, because Mr. Sampl’s trip tomorrow sounds pretty fun. Anyways, being grounded while home sick seriously blows. I can’t really do anything, since I have no new books to read. Actually, I think I’ll ask my mom to take me to Barnes and Noble tonight…. I’ll have to get back to you on that. Anyways, sorry for the short post, but this is all the time I can afford to risk, me being grounded and all 😦 Bye!
Hey. Okay, I MOSTLY hate quarter projects. I hate the stress of them. I normally like how I get to write as much as I want, except for the times when the final essay is only two pages (I’m looking at you, first quarter US History I Honors project!). My outline for Dos’ class (again, that’s history if you haven’t caught on by now or if you’re new 🙂 ) is due after vacation, and I have to read, like, up to six books. I know, I know, once I get to college, it’ll be much harder, blah blah blah, but I’m only in high school. And while I do like the extra challenge, I don’t exactly fly through books that don’t hold my attention. Sure, I can read a Harry Potter book in an hour, but a five hundred page book on the Jacksonian Era? Forget it! Ugh, it just sounds so boring. I’ve barely started, so I can’t really say much about any of the three books I’ve chosen to start off with (if I need more information I’ll go on to the other three), but I don’t have very high expectations. I think that writing the essay itself will be fairly fun, but I have to get through the books first. Meh. Alright, that’s it for now. I gotta go read some of those books. Wish me luck! Bye!

Hi. So, my aunt shared this link on Facebook. This is an amazingly well-written post, and the best part is that it’s so true. So, yeah. Read it and be awed! Also, the title is very misleading if you haven’t read the post, so I will explain it a little. Matt Walsh was sent an email that said the title of the post, basically, so don’t worry, all you parents out there who were previously offended by the title. It’s not his opinion. It’s not what you think. So now, without further ado, READ THIS POST:

Hey. So, my next hate is ~drumroll~ slow computers. Yuck. They screw everything up, especially if you’re playing a game. Like The Sims 3, for instance. I try to play it, but my stupid laptop is so slow that my Sims take like 1 step every 5 seconds! It’s so annoying! Or when you’re trying to scroll down to read something, and you scroll once. When it freezes, you scroll like a million times in annoyance and anger and by the time it unfreezes you’ve scrolled so much that the screen is at the bottom of what you were trying to read, so you have to scroll back up and try to find where you left off. But it’s a never ending cycle, because when you scroll up the same thing happens, and you find yourself at the top of what you were trying to read. Anyways, that’s my rant for today. Bye!
