IT’S SUMMER VACATION!

Hey! So, I’m happy to announce, at 9:30am EST this morning, I officially became a Junior! I’m in 11th grade (technically- however, when I’m asked, it’s always “uhhhh, I was in 10th, and I’m going into my junior year…). The saddest part, though, is that Mr. Rose isn’t coming back next year 😥 I did get a picture with him, though:

I also got to take a picture with another favorite teacher of all time: Ms. Picone!

I’m so happy to be out, although that’s mostly because I’ll have more time to write- I really like school, actually. Anyways, you may see a dramatic increase in posts, or a decrease, too. I can’t tell the future! I’m going to try to post more, but I’m making no promises.

In other news, my Tigers won our first playoff game! And, on top of that, we had a shutout 6-0 against the A’s the previous game. That makes three games that we’ve won! Which, I know, isn’t really a lot, but we beat the best team in the league on Tuesday (the first playoff game)- the Pirates. And just look at the picture I got:

See the white streak?

I literally took 281 pictures trying to get the ball in action (like the above picture). I only got it, like, five times, but that’s okay. I have some nice pictures now.

Anyways, I’m off to write. Or, rather, outline. Camp NaNoWriMo doesn’t start for another 11 days. Bye!

School Tomorrow

Hey! Well, February vacation’s over, at least for me and my brothers (although I’m sure that they would disagree and tell me it’s not over until they get to school 🙂 )- my sister has tomorrow off, thanks to a teacher training day at her school. I’m happy to go back (like I used to be before those assholes at the public school started to bully me), except for the fact that I have a Dos quiz tomorrow. Which, by the way, quizzes are harder than tests. Alright, sorry for the short post, but there’s a request for a post (well, maybe not exactly a request, but I made it one 🙂 ) and I’m so excited that I’m going to start it now! Bye!

It’s Vacation!!

Hey. Well, my February vacation started a little while ago today, which means (probably) longer, more thorough posts, and I’m definitely going to do my best to get as much of Running written as possible. I actually don’t have a shit-load of homework to do over break, surprisingly. All I have is a Dos essay and to study a bunch for Spanish. Alright, sorry for the short post, but I have to go. I meant it to be longer, really I did, but I need to go now. Sorry! Bye!

First Day Back At School

Hey. Well, today marked the official end of my Christmas vacation. No frowny face, though- I’m fairly happy to be back at school, for multiple reasons. First, I think I was going to go crazy if I was stuck at home for even one more day. I don’t think my family and I were meant to be together 24/7, let me tell you! Second, I missed my friends, who I hadn’t seen since before the break. And third, I was just getting bored. Today was pretty fun, even though I was exhausted (i haven’t been sleeping very well lately). I brought my laptop and tested to see if I could take notes without getting distracted, and so far, so good! I took amazing notes in Religion, plus I used my online Geometry book without distraction. Alright, I’m going to go play some games before my half hour of free time is up. Sorry for the short post. Maybe if I finish my homework I’ll post a longer one. Bye!

I Hate Quarter Projects!

Hey. Okay, I MOSTLY hate quarter projects. I hate the stress of them. I normally like how I get to write as much as I want, except for the times when the final essay is only two pages (I’m looking at you, first quarter US History I Honors project!). My outline for Dos’ class (again, that’s history if you haven’t caught on by now or if you’re new 🙂 ) is due after vacation, and I have to read, like, up to six books. I know, I know, once I get to college, it’ll be much harder, blah blah blah, but I’m only in high school. And while I do like the extra challenge, I don’t exactly fly through books that don’t hold my attention. Sure, I can read a Harry Potter book in an hour, but a five hundred page book on the Jacksonian Era? Forget it! Ugh, it just sounds so boring. I’ve barely started, so I can’t really say much about any of the three books I’ve chosen to start off with (if I need more information I’ll go on to the other three), but I don’t have very high expectations. I think that writing the essay itself will be fairly fun, but I have to get through the books first. Meh. Alright, that’s it for now. I gotta go read some of those books. Wish me luck! Bye!

My Christmas Vacation Has Officially Started

Hey. As of… exactly an hour ago right now (3:30), I am officially on my Christmas vacation! Woot woot! Yeah! And, Christmas is a mere 5 days away! Rebecca LOVED the gift, and Mrs. Arruda and Ms. Picone loved their gifts as well. Today was pretty fun. My history teacher Mr. Dos Santos (a.k.a. Dos), represented the 11 lords a leaping and he had to kind of jump and click his heels together in front of the whole school!! I almost died of laughter (not really, obviously, but I almost had to take my inhaler!). Look up bishop connolly teachers 12 days of christmas 2009 on Youtube to get an idea of why he had to do this. Anyway, I think that’s it for now. Goodbye BCHS of 2013! Bye!

My Week

Hey. So, this vacation was really good. It got started early in the week, when we went bowling and had icecream sundaes one night. Then, on Thursday, we went swimming (inside, of course), and then we went to eat at Red Robin (YUM!!), and after that I slept at a friend’s house. Friday, I just chilled at my friend’s house, so it was pretty relaxing. Also, on Friday night, my friend’s brother, who’s also my friend, slept at my house. We played a lot of Halo and COD (I won a lot at Halo, COD not so much, I don’t play it a lot). He went home on Saturday, so I got to relax a bit before Monster Jam (monster trucks) on Sunday. My whole family went, as well as the two brothers and their dad. My little 4-year-old brother A.J. actually fell asleep in the middle of it! Can you imagine! Monster trucks roaring, and he’s just sleeping the day away. It was crazy. Anyways, that’s my week in a nutshell. Pretty fun. So, bye for now!
